The Whatcom Food Network facilitates civic belonging, cooperation, and coalition-building for the community goals of a resilient, regenerative and equitable food system for all.

As the civic engagement partner for the Whatcom Food Systems Committee, our current efforts are focused including community voices in decision making concerning the implementation of the Whatcom County Food System Plan.

Rooted in the belief that food is a human right, the Network is open to anyone interested in intersectional food system projects. We engage our community through convening events, facilitating partnerships and strategic conversations, hosting discussions and information via our listserv and building coalitions for a just food system.

All donations are tax-deductible – our Tax ID Number is 91-1192943.

Please note: Chuckanut Health Foundation is the fiscal sponsor of the Whatcom Food Network. The Foundation acts as the organizational “home” for the project and can receive donations and process payments on behalf of the project.
